Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Shop Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a global leader in access solutions, offering mechanical and digital locks, security cylinders, door automation, and identity management. Due to strategic global growth and an ever growing order book they now require an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for there site on the outskirts of Newton Abbot. (Heathfield). Role Summary: Support the operation of the office and factory facilities through completion of planned preventative maintenance, repairs, projects and process improvements. Duties: Participate in miscellaneous engineering related projects as required to support the manufacturing organisation. Under supervision support the manufacturing operation with any engineering related issues in a suitable priority order. Assist with the provision of timely breakdown assistance (Electrical and Mechanical) to support the manufacturing organisation. Assist with the completion of accurate maintenance/breakdown records and log these onto the CMMS Support production by helping the engineering team to provide routine maintenance, fault finding and attending production breakdowns. Assist the engineering team with monitoring and improving manufacturing processes where necessary. Assist with undertaking routine facilities maintenance around the factory when required.
