Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
I''m currently looking for a Shift Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team on a long-term, secure contract within a major manufacturing environment. The role will initially be a 12 month fixed term contract with a strong possibility of extension / permanent employment upon completion. The RoleYou''ll be working on a 4 on / 6 off shift pattern (days / nights) - 12-hour shifts (Banked Hours System)As part of the on-site maintenance team, you will be responsible for:Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtimeDelivering planned and preventive maintenance activitiesSupporting installation and upgrade projectsCarrying out continuous improvement work on crane systemsEnsuring all work is completed safely and to a high standardThis is a hands-on, customer-facing role where strong communication and teamwork are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical and mechanical maintenance on crane systemsFault finding and diagnostics across a range of equipmentWorking with motors, brakes, sensors, and safety devicesMaintaining high standards of health and safety at all timesSupporting apprentices and contributing to team knowledgeRequirementsTime-served Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (ONC / HNC or equivalent)NVQ Level 3 with a minimum of 3 years'' site experienceElectrical fault-finding capabilityMechanical maintenance experience (bearings, wheels, ropes, etc.)Comfortable working at heightDesirable:Experience with PLCs and invertersWelding or bench ..... full job details .....
