Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join one of our clients on a permanent basis in Leicester.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business offering flexibility, autonomy, and long-term stability within a modern production environment.Role: Multiskilled Maintenance EngineerHours: Flexible working hours Monday - Friday between 6:00am - 10:00pm (Minimum 40 hours per week)Location: LeicesterSalary: 45,000 - 50,000Duties:Carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance across the siteTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faultsConduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactivelyRespond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtimeMaintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systemsComplete maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentationLiaise with external contractors and suppliers when requiredEnsure all work is carried out in line with Health and Safety proceduresManage maintenance activities independently within a standalone roleRequirements:Time-served Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer18th Edition qualifiedCompleted an apprenticeship within General Engineering or MachiningStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experiencePrevious experience within a manufacturing or engineering environmentAbility to read and interpret schematics and engineering diagramsAble to work independently and manage workload effectivelyExperience ..... full job details .....
