Description

• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in machinery and systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed and parts used.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

Profile

A successful Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer should have:

• A recognised qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within the FMCG industry.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for machinery and equipment issues.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an engineering environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Offer

Continental Shift pattern

Base salary -41,248.09

30% shift allowance, which currently equals -53,622.52
