Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, Sheffield, days only We are recruiting for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing client''s facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery, minimise downtime, and uphold high operational standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and provide timely repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices. Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment; manage procurement as needed. Monitor and improve equipment performance using KPIs such as MTTR (Mean time to repair) and MTBF(Mean time between failures) Collaborate with production, safety, and engineering teams to support operational goals. Manage maintenance budgets and prepare reports for management review. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment uptime and reduce costs. Oversee facilities maintenance including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and utilities (as applicable).
