Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance EngineerNewton Aycliffe 45,000 Double DaysCV Technical are currently working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe who are looking to add an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer to their team.This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable role within a modern manufacturing environment, working a double-day shift pattern with no permanent nights.The RoleAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for keeping production machinery and site equipment running efficiently, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the site.You will be involved in:Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Responding to breakdowns and fault findingMechanical and electrical maintenance of production machineryDiagnosing faults and getting equipment back up and runningWorking on motors, sensors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulicsSupporting machinery installations and improvementsIdentifying recurring faults and helping improve equipment reliabilityMaintaining accurate maintenance recordsWorking closely with production to minimise downtimeFollowing all relevant Health and Safety proceduresThe PersonThe ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment and be comfortable working across both mechanical and electrical systems.You should have:Previous industrial/manufacturing maintenance ..... full job details .....
