This is a rare opportunity to join a market leading manufacturing business. After 19 years of service, the incumbert is due to retire. This has now created an exciting opportunity for someone to join a well established business, where the average length of service is 15 years.
With the recent investment in new machinery, this business is creating opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement and involvement within CAPEX projects which will inturn develop your technical experience. You will be well support by an experienced team of mechanically minded machine operators.
Role Description
- Providing both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance across a wide range of production machinery.
- Ensuring work is carried out in a safety conscious fashion.
- Maintain plant and machinery to a high standard through PPMs
- Troubleshoot and find ways to improve line performance
- Plan & Schedule Site''s Residual Inspections / Repairs
- Reporting on recurrent faults and facilitating repair activities with the Engineering team / supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications
- Maintenance Engineering Experience
- Formal Qualification ideally Level 3 in Engineering and 18th Edition
- Manufacturing industry experience - FMCG
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
