Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Department: Engineering Reports To: Engineering Manager Shift: Monday - Friday (phone number removed) Job Purpose The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the continuous operation, reliability, and efficiency of all production machinery, equipment, and site services. The role involves carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance activities, fault diagnosis, repairs, continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting compliance with health, safety, environmental, and food safety standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in minimising downtime, maximising equipment performance, and supporting production targets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires a highly skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical expertise, capable of working independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Maintain all production machinery, equipment, and site infrastructure to ensure maximum operational efficiency and reliability. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production issues, carrying out effective fault diagnosis and repairs to minimise downtime. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities in accordance with maintenance schedules and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) systems.
