Right Now Group are currently recruiting for a Multimodal Operator to join a well-established logistics provider based in the Sunbury-on-Thames area. Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-driven individual to manage end-to-end shipments across multiple transport modes, ensuring all operations are completed efficiently and in line with customs regulations.Position: Multimodal OperatorLocation: Sunbury-on-ThamesHours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30Salary: £38,000 - £40,000Key Responsibilities for a Multimodal Operator:Manage shipments from start to finish across import and export operationsCoordinate multi-modal transport movements where requiredComplete and submit customs entries using CDS in line with current regulationsLiaise with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment flowMaintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is compliantHandle any issues or delays proactively, providing solutions and updates to clientsKey Skills for a Multimodal Operator:Minimum of 4+ years'' experience within freight forwarding or logisticsStrong working knowledge of CDS (Customs Declaration Service)Ability to independently manage full-cycle shipmentsExperience with CargoWise (desirable)Familiarity with Descartes / e-Customs systems (advantageous)Understanding of multi-modal freight operations (preferred but not essential)Additional Benefits for a Multimodal Operator:21 days annual leave + bank holidaysAnnual leave increases with service up to 25 ..... full job details .....
