Multi-Trades Construction Lecturer Slough / Langley (Perm or Temp) Salary: £31,100 £44,800 (Temp considered for immediate start) The Opportunity An Ofsted-rated Good further education college in the Slough and Langley area is seeking a Multi-Trades Lecturer to join its construction department. The college is open to both permanent candidates and temporary applicants who are immediately available, with the role based across two modern campuses supporting vocational learners at Level 1. Key Responsibilities Teach Level 1 construction courses across multiple trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, brickwork, or general construction). Prepare and deliver engaging lessons with practical and theory components. Assess student progress and provide feedback to support development. Assist with curriculum planning and resource development across disciplines. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, with high expectations for learners new to the trades. Requirements Level 2 or 3 qualification in a construction-related discipline. Ability to teach more than one construction subject. Teaching Qualification (TQ) preferred, but strong applicants from industry backgrounds will also be considered. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learner engagement.
