This is an all-round role. We need someone who is genuinely competent across several trades and can attend jobs independently, identify the problem, complete the work to a good standard and provide clear updates. The right person should be confident with: • General plumbing – taps, toilets, wastes, leaks, traps and fault finding • Carpentry – doors, locks, handles, skirting, boxing-in and general repairs • Handyman and general property maintenance • Painting, decorating and making good • Tiling and silicone works • Electrical tasks where competent, although electrical qualifications are not essential • Attending investigative jobs and providing a practical diagnosis of issues such as leaks, damp, mould and condensation • Identifying likely causes of property defects and reporting findings clearly, including ventilation issues, plumbing leaks, water ingress,...
