Multi-Trade Operative (Empty Homes) We are seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to carry out repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works to empty residential properties, ensuring homes are brought back to a high standard ready for new tenants. Key Responsibilities: Undertake a wide range of multi-skilled repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, basic masonry, and general property maintenance. Complete both internal and external repairs to residential properties and communal areas. Deliver work to a high professional standard, ensuring compliance with all relevant building regulations and best practice. Liaise effectively with residents, colleagues, and management regarding progress and completed works. Complete repairs efficiently, aiming for first-time completion wherever possible. Use mobile devices and job management systems to accurately update repairs, materials used, and completed works. Maintain appropriate van stock levels and procure materials as required. Carry out vehicle checks and ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained in good condition. Adhere to all health and safety policies, including the use of PPE, risk assessments, and safe working practices. Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota when required. Requirements: NVQ Level 2 (minimum) in Carpentry, Plumbing, Property Maintenance, or a related trade, or equivalent time-served experience.
