Multi Trader Godalming£33,000 - £35,000 A long-established independent education site set within extensive landscaped grounds is seeking a skilled General Builder to join its in-house Estates team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the maintenance and upkeep of a large and diverse estate, featuring both historic and modern buildings. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary estates department, contributing to planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and general building works across the site. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive building maintenance across a varied estate Undertake general building, paving, external works, roofing repairs and maintenance Support drainage maintenance including gulley clearing, gutter cleaning, and roof clearing Assist with erection and safe use of access equipment including scaffold towers Support the escorting of contractors on site when required Transport and distribute materials across site for maintenance activities Contribute to planned preventative maintenance programmes Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently Maintain strong compliance with Health and Safety procedures (including COSHH, PUWER, Working at Height) Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and attention to detail at all times Requirements Multi-trade building experience (general building background essential) Proven experience in maintenance or construction environments Ability to manage a varied ..... full job details .....
