Multi-Trader

DK Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities and maintenance contractor for an experienced-Multi-Trader to join their growing team covering Dorchester and the surrounding Dorset area.

This is a varied, customer-facing role carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial and residential properties.

The Role

As a Mobile Maintenance Multi-Trader, you''ll be responsible for completing a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.

Typical duties include:

• General building maintenance and repairs.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing and painting & decorating.
• Patch plastering, tiling and flooring repairs.
• Door, lock and ironmongery repairs.
• Kitchen and bathroom maintenance.
• Reactive maintenance and planned works.
• Diagnosing faults and completing first-time fixes where possible.
• Accurately completing job reports using a handheld device.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience in a Multi-Trader, Maintenance Operative or Property Maintenance role.
• Competent across multiple trades, ideally including carpentry, plumbing and decorating.
• Experience working within commercial, residential or social housing environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
