Multi Trader

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Housing Multi Trader to join our growing team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services within occupied and void social housing properties.

Working across domestic properties, you will carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure homes are safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard. This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism and strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day reactive maintenance works in social housing properties
• Complete multi-trade repairs
• Basic plumbing (taps, sinks, WC repairs)
• Carpentry (doors, locks, architraves, kitchen repairs)
• Patch plastering and making good
• Tiling and minor flooring repairs
• Painting and decorating
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently on first visit where possible
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants at all times
• Accurately complete job reports and paperwork (via PDA or mobile device)

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader within social housing or domestic maintenance
• Must have trade NVQ 
• Strong skills across multiple trades (carpentry or plumbing bias desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
