Salary: Up to £38,000 per year (depending on experience & qualifications)

Build Recruitment are looking for a skilled and reliable Multi Trader to join a busy reactive maintenance team delivering high-quality repairs within social housing properties across North Hertfordshire, including Luton, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, and Hitchin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson seeking long-term stability, great benefits, and consistent local work.

You will carry out day-to-day reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied domestic and council properties. The role requires a strong focus on first-time fixes, customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of workmanship while working in tenants'' homes.

• Carrying out a wide range of reactive maintenance and repair works, including carpentry, basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, decorating, and other general building repairs
• Completing reactive maintenance works in occupied social housing properties
• Diagnosing faults and delivering effective, long-lasting solutions
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism at all times

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader within domestic, social housing, or council property maintenance
• Experience across a variety of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and decorating
• Relevant trade qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) preferred but not essential
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
