Rate: £25.45 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to work on behalf of a leading housing association across Bow East London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out responsive repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works within occupied and void residential properties. You will need to be confident working independently, delivering a high standard of workmanship and providing excellent customer service to residents.

• Carry out a range of multi-trade repairs and maintenance within residential properties.

• Complete responsive repairs, planned maintenance and minor refurbishment works.

• Undertake basic plumbing, carpentry, patch plastering, tiling and other general building works.

• Diagnose faults and determine the appropriate repair or remedial action.

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

• Maintain accurate records of completed works using relevant systems and paperwork.

• Liaise professionally with residents, housing association representatives and colleagues.

• Keep the company vehicle, tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements and company procedures.

• Proven experience working as a Multi Trade Operative / Multi Skilled Operative within social housing, property maintenance or a similar environment.

• Competent across several trades, ideally including carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general building maintenance.

• Experience carrying out responsive repairs in occupied properties.

• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule of jobs.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Relevant trade qualifications are desirable.

• £25.45 per hour
