Salary - -35,500 (+ Company Van and Fuel Card) per annum
Contract type - Permanent
Working hours - Full Time 39 Hours per week
About the role
We are recruiting for a full time Multi Trade Operative Kitchen and Bathroom fitter to join our trades team on a permanent basis who has a core trade in carpentry and plumbing with a desire to join our team of talented staff.
This role is field based in the Oxford area.
Purpose of the Role:
You will ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard and will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice
By working in a professional, respectful and courteous manner you will deliver excellent customer service, objectives and achieve behaviour competences.

About you
You must be to qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ2 level in Building Maintenance with a core trade in carpentry / plumbing or demonstrate equivalent multi-trade experience. Previous experience of working within the social housing sector would be beneficial.
You must have a good understanding of safe working practices and knowledge of working to Risk Assessments, Method statements and COSHH assessments.
You must have a Full UK Driver`s License to enable you to be successful as you will be travelling to multiple locations weekly - you will be provided with a van and fuel card.
You will be required to undertake a range of routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs including the following trades: Basic Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling.
It is essential that you are able to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.
You must have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload to achieve deadlines and be able to effectively use hand-held electronic devices. A work tablet will be provided and plays a vital part of the role .
You must be highly competent , have a positive can do attitude, have exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and communicate with them effectively and confidently.
