About the Role

This temporary full-time position is for a Multi-Skilled Warehouse Operative (FLT) based in Ledbury, working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The role, offered through Pertemps, runs for 6-8 weeks at £12.82 per hour. A valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence is essential. Daily duties include safely operating the FLT, receiving and checking supplier deliveries, and picking, packing, and loading customer orders. The successful candidate will also support stock control through inventory checks, replenish production areas, and maintain clear stock identification. Excellent housekeeping standards are required within the warehouse.

Pertemps are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Ledbury on a temporary basis for 6-8 weeks.
⚠️ A valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT safely and efficiently
Receiving, checking and storing supplier deliveries
Picking, packing and loading customer orders for dispatch
Supporting stock control activities, including inventory checks and stock counts
Replenishing production areas and maximising warehouse space
Ensuring stock is clearly identified and stored correctly
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse and yard
Complying with all Health & Safety and quality procedures
Skills & Experience
Valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence (essential)
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Experience using warehouse systems, ERP software and barcode scanners
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kanban or 5S would be advantageous
