Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: -29,948 per annum

Think Property Services are recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative with a Flooring discipline to join a busy property maintenance and construction team based in Spennymoor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled flooring operative to join a well-established housing maintenance environment, carrying out flooring works and associated multi-skilled repairs across domestic and commercial properties.

As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will be responsible for completing all types of flooring work to a high standard, while delivering an excellent level of customer service to tenants, residents and internal teams.

• Carrying out all aspects of flooring work in domestic and commercial properties
• Completing associated multi-skilled repairs where required
• Working safely and efficiently in line with risk assessments
• Delivering works in line with construction drawings and job specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality standard
• Working within a target-driven repairs and maintenance environment
• Communicating effectively with tenants, residents, colleagues and stakeholders
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Adapting positively to changes in working practices
• Representing the organisation professionally while working in local communities

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• NVQ Level 2 in Floorcovering, or be working towards this qualification
• Approximately 2 years of on-site training or relevant practical experience
• Experience carrying out flooring works in domestic and commercial properties
• Linked building skills to carry out multi-skilled works
• CSCS card appropriate to the role
• Experience working in a target-driven environment
• The ability to undertake multi-skilled trade competencies
• Understanding of risk assessments and safe working practices
• Ability to read and work from construction drawings
• Sound knowledge of building construction, components and building trades
• Strong communication skills
• A flexible and positive approach to work
• Excellent customer service skills
