12-hour shifts | Days & Nights | 6–6 rotation

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting a technically advanced FMCG site, working on modern production and packaging equipment in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Fault finding on PLC-controlled, automated production machinery
• Planned preventative maintenance and controlled reactive maintenance
• Diagnosing electrical faults on motors, drives, inverters, sensors and control panels
• Supporting continuous improvement activities and root cause analysis
• Working closely with production to maximise line efficiency and performance
• Maintaining high engineering and safety standards within a food manufacturing environment

The Person

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias
• Experience within FMCG, food, drink, packaging or high-speed manufacturing
• Confident fault finding on automated machinery and electrical control systems
• Able to work independently and make effective decisions under pressure
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Desirable:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experience working with PLC systems such as Siemens or Allen Bradley
• Understanding of HACCP, BRC and food safety standards
