Multi-Skilled Shift EngineerLocation: -WirralSalary: -£51,371 per annum, plus overtime rates (x 1.5) weekends (double time) and bank holidays (triple time)Shift Pattern: -4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) with scheduled extended break periods throughout the year.We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a large-scale manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a wide range of production equipment, site services, and facility systems to ensure maximum operational uptime and efficiency.Working as part of a shift-based engineering team, you will play a key role in supporting production through both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance activities.Key Responsibilities• Diagnose and repair equipment faults as part of normal shift activities. • Respond quickly to production breakdowns and minimise downtime. • Carry out preventative maintenance activities and routine safety inspections. • Perform fault-finding and diagnostic work on both planned and reactive maintenance tasks. • Maintain a variety of production machinery and site services. • Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed effectively. • Support engineering and continuous improvement projects. • Promote and follow all health, safety, and environmental standards. • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational performance. • Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve recurring ..... full job details .....
