Multi Skilled Operative

VGC Group are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team on a major project in Leiston, Suffolk.

Basic pay rate: £23.87 per hour PAYE

Shift- 12 nights on, 2 nights off. 12 hour shifts

Start Date: ASAP, subject to gaining vetting.

Lodge pay is available for the successful candidate, if they meet the criteria.

Qualifications/experience:

- CSCS
- CPCS Operating Plant Machinery
- Divers Licence
- CITB HS&E

Key Responsibilities:

- Understanding of general construction processes.
- Good understanding of site operation and duties.
- Carry out manual work and assisting with trades as required.
- Maintain tidiness on site.
- Good understanding of Groundworks and Civils processes.
- Carry out delegated tasks without further direction.
- Understanding of the requirements of multiple additional trades.

Key Skills:

- Strong understanding of lifting operations and safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and situational awareness
