Multi Skilled Operative

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable Multi-Skilled Operative to join their operational delivery team. As part of continued growth and long-term workforce planning, they are looking for someone with a strong practical background and a positive, can-do attitude who can support the delivery of a varied range of maintenance and building works across their client portfolio. This role offers excellent variety, with works ranging from planned maintenance and reactive repairs through to minor refurbishment projects across commercial, public sector and Government facilities. The successful applicant will attend sites across London and the South East carrying out building maintenance activities and supporting wider operational projects where required. Typical works may include carpentry repairs and installations, tiling, decorating, brickwork repairs, fencing and gate repairs, flooring repairs, basic plumbing activities, making good works and general building maintenance. Whilst experience across multiple trades would be advantageous, it is recognised that no individual will cover every trade discipline. The successful candidate will therefore possess strong transferable practical skills, take pride in their work and be willing to adapt and develop. The role would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, working independently and taking ownership of tasks whilst also being comfortable working collaboratively within a wider operational team.
