A great opportunity has arisen for a hands on operative to join a leading manufacturer who supplies to a variety of electrical and utility industries.Job Description:Sanding/rubbing and masking of paintwork on industrial equipment and other productsPreparing stencils/jigsPainting markings on productsUse of hand toolsEnsuring adherence to quality processes and proceduresMaintain and adhere to Company Health and Safety standardsGeneral housekeeping duties within the factory site both internal and external to maintain high standards of housekeeping and reporting any issuesGeneral factory tasks as instructedEnsuring tasks are completed on time in line with production targetsCommunicating with colleaguesBeneficial Skills / Qualifications:Full training will be providedReliableGood attention to detailHands on experience of working within a manufacturing environmentAbility to carry out tasks and instructions requested by SupervisorsHave good written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding the importance of working as a team to achieve productivity standards/targetsIdeally experience of working within a continuous improvement environmentHave a ''Can do'' attitude with the ability to work unsupervised using own initiativeFlexible approach and a willingness to work across other areas of the factoryBe professional and possess a polite and positive attitudePhysically FitSalary and benefits:Salary negotiable25 days holiday per year plus 8 bank holidaysProfit Share scheme (paid ..... full job details .....
