Multi Skilled Operative

DAYS ONLY Mon to Friday (NO NIGHTS) rotating Saturdays available at 1.5 overtime, joining a well-established manufacturing business in the Tunbridge Wells area is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to support daily production operations, operate machinery, assist with manufacturing processes and ensure the safe, efficient production of high-quality products. This is a hands-on role offering excellent long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities of the Multi-Skilled Operative:

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently
• Support daily operations
• Carry out basic maintenance checks and report any issues
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and company policies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Operative:

• Experience within a manufacturing, production, plant or heavy industrial environment
• Previous experience operating machinery or production equipment
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, hands-on approach, works well on own initiative
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
• Good communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

We would welcome CVs from candidates with experience as a Multi-Skilled Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Plant Operative, Process Operative, Machine Operator, Factory Operative, Production Technician, Concrete Operative, Batch Plant Operative, Quarry Operative, Yard Operative, Site Operative or similar roles within manufacturing, construction materials or heavy industry.

Location: Tunbridge Wells; easily commutable from Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Crowborough, East Grinstead, Ashford, Crawley, Orpington and surrounding areas.
