Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

The OpportunityA leading construction and facilities management contractor is seeking an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join its growing compliance and maintenance team.Working on a key hospitality-sector contract, you''ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and certifying fire doors to ensure compliance with current legislation and building regulations. This role offers the chance to join a successful and expanding business that has experienced significant growth in recent years and can offer excellent long-term career prospects.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out fire door maintenance, repairs and remedial works in accordance with current fire safety legislation.Inspect existing fire doors and identify any required remedial actions.Prepare quotations detailing labour requirements and materials needed for each job.Liaise directly with clients, answering technical queries and explaining fire door compliance requirements.Certify completed works and provide all relevant compliance documentation.Maintain accurate records, job notes and photographic evidence using company systems.Upload reports and supporting documents to ensure a clear audit trail.Assist Account Managers and the Billing Team with job-related queries to support efficient invoicing.RequirementsNVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or equivalent.Proven experience in carpentry, maintenance and repair work.Strong knowledge of fire door regulations, compliance standards and certification requirements.Experience undertaking ..... full job details .....
