We are looking for an experienced engineer with an electrical bias to join our client''s team based in Bedford. You will be working in a highly automated environment and will play a key part in maintaining and improving on-site machinery including conveyors, sortation systems, automated handling equipment, palletisers, bagger, labelling machines etc. This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased maintenance engineer who enjoys working in a modern, technology-driven environment and has strong fault-finding abilities. Key Responsibilities for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician Maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of engineering systems and automated equipment. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and reduce downtime. Work closely with operations, maintenance, and technical teams to ensure smooth day-to-day performance. Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for technical issues. Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards. Assist with project planning, equipment upgrades, and installation activities.
