Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician - ERDC£29.94 per hour | 5 days on-site | 12 months | Inside IR35We''re looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading Engine Research andamp; Development Centre, working within a state-of-the-art engine test facility.This is a great opportunity to work on advanced testbed and facility equipment, supporting engine development in a highly technical engineering environment.What you''ll be doingReactive, planned and preventative mechanical maintenanceFault finding, repairs and installation of facility equipmentWorking with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsReading mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawingsSupporting equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projectsRoot cause analysis and technical problem solvingWorking alongside engineers, technicians and external contractorsSupporting and mentoring apprentices and colleaguesWhat we''re looking forEngineering apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)Strong hands-on mechanical maintenance experienceConfident fault-finding and diagnostics skillsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and schematicsExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems or pipe fitting would be highly desirableExperience with Laser alignment of rotating equipment is a bonusThe opportunity£29.94 per hour | Inside IR3512-month contract with strong potential to extend5 days on-siteIf you''re a hands-on Maintenance Technician looking to work on cutting-edge ..... full job details .....
