Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the facility uses highly technical, temperature-controlled manufacturing processes. This creates an interesting and varied engineering environment with plenty of complex plant and equipment to learn. Your new role As a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer with an electrical bias, you will provide maintenance support across a busy manufacturing facility. The role is approximately 70% electrical and 30% mechanical, working a five-team rotating shift pattern aligned with factory operations. You will complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and support the continued operation of the plant. During night shifts, you may work independently, so strong fault-finding and investigatory skills are essential. Where an immediate repair is not possible, you will be expected to diagnose the fault and develop a clear plan for resolving it.
