This is a hands-on engineering role working across a fast-paced production environment, supporting machinery uptime, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipmentWorking on: ConveyorsFreezersPumpsMotorsControl Panels3 Phase MotorsPLC fault finding, primarily on Allen Bradley systemsCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtimeSupporting continuous improvement projectsEnsuring all work is completed safely and to food manufacturing standardsExperience / Skills RequiredPrevious maintenance engineering experience within manufacturingExperience with PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley advantageous)Electrical and mechanical engineering skillsStrong fault-finding abilities across automated machineryFood manufacturing background advantageousTraining and ProgressionPLC training providedClear progression opportunities into in-house supervisory rolesSupportive engineering structure with: 8 Engineers onsiteApproximately 30 people on the shop floorPackage and BenefitsSalary up to 55,000 DOEShift allowance/overtime paid at x1.3NEST PensionContinental shift ..... full job details .....
