Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerLocation: Somerset (Commutable from, Sherborne, Yeovil, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Bruton, Wincanton and surrounding areas) Salary: 45,000 - 48,000 + Bonus Shift: Monday to Friday (Double Days) Are you a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? Zest Engineering are working closely with a highly reputable food manufacturer in the heart of Somerset looking to expand its team due to internal growth within the business! Key Responsibilities: Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across a range of systems. Carry out breakdown fault finding and maintenance on production machinery. Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and solve equipment failures and recurring issues. Maintain and optimise steam systems, ensuring they run safely and efficiently. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve overall equipment performance.Requirements: Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role (electrical and mechanical). Previous experience working within food manufacturing. Strong experience in continuous improvement and root cause analysis. In-depth knowledge of steam systems and associated equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
