This is a permanent role within a busy engineering team, working across a broad mix of production plant and site services.This is a permanent nights position - 4 on 4 off, 6pm to 6am. The shift is fixed, so there is no rotation onto days and no constantly resetting your sleep. You will know your pattern well in advance and can plan around it, and the four-day blocks leave your daytimes free for the things that are impossible to arrange around a standard working week.The site runs a fast-paced operation to strict quality and hygiene standards, so uptime matters. You will be trusted to make your own calls on breakdowns and to bring ideas forward on how the plant can run better - this is not a role where you simply wait for the next job to land.The position is mechanically biased with welding and fabrication skills highly valued.
