Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity in the city of Hull. We are recruiting on behalf of one of our well established clients for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer based within the food industry. This is a full-time, permanent position with immediate starts avaialble. Shifts 4 On 4 Off days only working (Apply online only). Pay 48562 per annum. The Role This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, supporting the reliability and efficiency of a food production site. Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production and packaging machinery Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and safely Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and modifications Ensure all work complies with health and safety and food safety standards Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Work closely with production teams to minimise disruption and maximise efficiency Requirements Multi-skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities Previous experience within a food, FMCG, or fast-paced manufacturing environment Recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, HNC or equivalent) Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance Good communication and teamwork skills If ..... full job details .....
