Multi-Skilled Maintenance TechnicianLocation: East London Salary: Circa 70,000 total package Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts (Days, Afternoons and Nights) Job Type: PermanentThe OpportunityAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a highly automated, continuous process manufacturing environment, working across two sites in East London.The role will focus on improving plant reliability through planned preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and supporting ongoing engineering improvement projects.You''ll work with PLC-controlled equipment and maintenance systems, using Root Cause Analysis to identify recurring issues, improve equipment performance, and minimise downtime.ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Respond to breakdowns and complete reactive maintenanceDiagnose electrical and mechanical faultsWork with PLC-controlled and automated production equipmentSupport plant reliability and continuous improvement projectsConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring equipment issuesUse maintenance systems to record and manage engineering activitiesWork closely with production teams to minimise downtimeMaintain high Health and Safety standards across both sitesSkills and ExperienceMulti-skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance experienceExperience within FMCG, food, packaging, or another fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience working ..... full job details .....
