Maintenance Engineer Tipton £52,000 - £55,000 per annum Rotating Shifts: 5:00am - 2:00pm 1:00pm - 10:00pm 9:00pm - 6:00am Full-Time PermanentThe OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business based in Tipton.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work within a fast-paced production environment, playing a key role in maintaining and improving manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activitiesRespond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdownsDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faultsMaintain and repair pumps, conveyors, fillers, cookers, and packaging machineryUndertake PLC fault finding (programming experience not required)Support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgradesEnsure compliance with Health and Safety, HACCP, and GMP standardsWork collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maximise plant performanceWhat We''re Looking ForEssential RequirementsNVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, BTEC or equivalent Engineering qualificationPrevious experience within a food manufacturing environmentStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capabilitiesExperience working on high-speed production or packaging linesAbility to work a rotating shift patternDesirable Skills and ExperiencePLC fault-finding ..... full job details .....
