We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established production facility in Nottingham.Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure maximum plant reliability and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across the siteCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Fault find on electrical systems including motors, drives, control panels and PLC-controlled equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical faults on production machineryWork on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumaticsSupport continuous improvement and reliability projectsComplete maintenance records using the CMMS systemEnsure all work is carried out safely and in line with site proceduresAbout YouNVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)Completed engineering apprenticeship preferredPrevious experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, production or automated environmentStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skillsBasic PLC fault-finding experienceAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsProactive approach to maintenance ..... full job details .....
