Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Nightshift

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Nightshift) Lanarkshire Permanent 4 on 4 off NT Engineering and Manufacturing are recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a well established manufacturer in Lanarkshire. This is a permanent night shift role on a 4 on 4 off pattern. The role You ll maintain a wide range of production equipment and carry out general maintenance and installation work within the site s planned preventative maintenance system. On nights you ll be working on your own initiative, handling breakdowns and fault finding to keep downtime at 2% or below. Day to day you ll be: Carrying out PPM in line with the maintenance schedule Responding to breakdowns and emergency work, fault finding and identifying root cause Logging all work, time and materials through the CMMS Communicating downtime and corrective actions to the Lead Engineer and Production Working to Food Safety, Health and Safety and GMP standards, with a clean as you go approach Spotting improvements on lines and machinery and getting involved in CI projects What you ll need Qualified multi skilled engineer Experience in an FMCG environment, ideally including food manufacturing or processing A self starter who s comfortable working independently on shift Lean or continuous improvement experience would be an advantage What s on offer Permanent role with a well established and extremely busy business 4 on 4 off nightshift pattern Healthy benefits package For a confidential chat, contact ..... full job details .....
