Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias - Night Shift Location: Preston Shift: Permanent Nights Position: Permanent Salary: From 45k to 55k + OTWe are recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join the engineering team, working a permanent night shift within a busy manufacturing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machineryElectrical and mechanical fault findingDiagnose and repair breakdowns to minimise production downtimeWork with motors, drives, sensors, control panels and automated equipmentPLC fault finding and diagnosticsCarry out PPM schedules and preventative maintenanceSupport machinery improvements, installations and upgradesMaintain accurate engineering and maintenance recordsEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with site proceduresSkills and ExperienceElectrically biased, multi-skilled maintenance backgroundPrevious experience within a manufacturing or production environmentStrong electrical fault-finding skillsGood mechanical maintenance knowledgeExperience with PLCs, motors, drives, sensors and control systemsAbility to work independently during night shiftsRecognised electrical/engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent18th Edition would be advantageousWhat''s on Offer?Permanent night shiftPermanent positionOpportunity to join an established manufacturing businessVaried electrical and ..... full job details .....
