Kingston Barnes are recruiting for a multi skilled engineer to join our client in the Cheddar and surrounding area. Working for a fast paced manufacturing company that operate 5 facilities and employ over thousands of employees nationwide, the site in North Somerset have a high performing engineering team which you will be joining and carrying out both reactive and pre planned maintenance across the facility, both electrical and mechanical maintenance. Responsibilities Carrying out both reactive and pre planned maintenance Working with SCADA, DCS and Control systems Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled during the shift to required standard Conduct continuous machine observation and measurement during the shift, identifying potential failure or deterioration in output, waste or quality performance from machine standards Working with conveyors Working with chain, belt driven machinery Requirements Mechanical or electrical bias, multi skilled background is essential Engineering qualifications are essential FMCG experience is highly desirable but not essential Must be happy working 12 hour shifts Shifts Mixture of days and night shifts 4 shifts per week on average Working 6 ..... full job details .....
