Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) First Achieve Engineering are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical) to join a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out repairs to plant, machinery, and equipment in a safe and timely mannerSupport the development and execution of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedulesDiagnose faults, carry out repairs, and return equipment to service efficientlyWork with maintenance systems to plan and prioritise workloadsAssist with installation, movement, and repositioning of machineryConduct electrical maintenance including wiring, panels, and control systems (110v, 240v, 415v)Install and maintain electrical components such as switches, relays, and control equipmentManufacture simple spare parts using workshop machinery where requiredWork alongside external contractors and specialist engineers when necessaryOperate equipment such as forklifts and MEWPs (training provided if required)Maintain accurate maintenance records and logsPromote and maintain high health and safety standards across all activitiesProvide support and guidance to less experienced team members RequirementsEssential:Time-served engineer in machine tool fitting or equivalent qualificationFormal electrical qualification (e.g. IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 or equivalent)Previous experience in a similar maintenance engineering roleStrong understanding of ..... full job details .....
