Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business in Ilkeston to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (open to Electrically or Mechanically biased) Location: IlkestonSalary: £50,500Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (days and nights) This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting cutting-edge automation and production systems. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting and improving a wide range of manufacturing equipment. Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on automated production lines. Perform PLC fault finding and support automation systems. Maintain motor control systems, drives and electrical distribution equipment. Support robotic systems and automated machinery. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maximise plant performance. Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime. About You To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer position, you will possess: Level 3 or above in Electrical OR Mechanical Engineering Proven experience as an Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
