Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Aberystwyth £40,000 to £48,000, depending on experience Yolk Recruitment is representing an established and well-invested food manufacturer in the search for an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a permanent days-based shift. You will work a consistent 4 on, 4 off patterns from 10:00am to 10:00pm, joining an experienced and supportive engineering function within a busy manufacturing environment. There can be some flexibility around start and finish times at weekends, where agreed by the engineering team. What You''ll Do: Provide reactive engineering support to keep high-volume production equipment running safely and efficiently Complete planned preventive maintenance across production and site services equipment Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, carrying out effective repairs to minimise disruption Work with equipment including processing machinery, pasteurisation systems, boilers, and associated utilities Support basic plumbing, mechanical strip-downs and general engineering activities when required Record and manage maintenance activity through a computerised maintenance management system Make the most of planned production downtime by completing maintenance, repairs, and equipment improvements Work closely with another engineer on shift and communicate effectively with production and wider site teams Follow robust health, safety, hygiene, and ..... full job details .....
