Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) Location: Knowsley - liverpoolSalary: £44,000 33% Night Shift AllowanceShifts: 3-Shift Rotation (6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6)Holidays: 25 Days + 8 Bank HolidaysCall-Out: 1 in 4 weekends (paid £51 per call-out)Benefits: Company pension, call-out payments, shift allowance The Role We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (60/40 or 70/30) to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will be expected to hit the ground running, supporting production by maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a wide range of machinery and systems. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and join an established maintenance team with a stable structure. Please note this is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys staying technical and operational. Key Responsibilities Maintenance and repair of heater systems Work on machine safety systems Fault-finding on single and 3-phase motors Maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Reactive and planned maintenance across Plastic injection moulding manufacturing machinery Supporting production teams to minimise downtime Occasional weekend call-out (1 in 5) Experience and Qualifications Minimum 5 years'' experience in manufacturing Injection moulding experience highly advantageous Ideally NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent Strong mechanical background with multi-skilled capability Ability to work independently and efficiently Package ..... full job details .....
