Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Bias Salary: £51,000 + Overtime/Shift AllowanceShift Pattern: 4-on / 4-off Rotating Panama ShiftLocation: Insert Location The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a mechanically biased maintenance role (approximately 70% Mechanical / 30% Electrical), ideal for an engineer with a strong mechanical maintenance background who also has good fundamental electrical knowledge. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of production machinery, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and operational. Key Responsibilities As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Planned and reactive maintenance of production machinery and equipment Mechanical fault finding, repair and preventative maintenance Working with chains, belts and bearings Maintenance of pumps, valves and hydraulic systems Working with pneumatic systems and conveyors Maintenance and fault finding on injection moulding machines Maintenance and fault finding on blow moulding machines Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently Electrical Skills Although the role is mechanically biased, candidates should have a good working knowledge of basic electrical systems, including: Sensors Relays ..... full job details .....
