The Company

An established and forward-thinking manufacturing business with over 40 years of industry expertise is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its on-site engineering team. The company operates within a specialist plastics manufacturing environment and continues to invest heavily in its people, plant, and processes to ensure high-quality output and operational excellence.

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be part of a small on-site team of two engineers responsible for maintaining production machinery and ensuring minimal downtime across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing electrical maintenance across all production machinery

• Carrying out both reactive breakdown repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Maintaining equipment in optimum operating condition

• Attending breakdowns during working hours and participating in an on-call rota

• Fault finding on:

  • Sensors, relays, and motors

  • PLC systems

  • Hydraulics and pneumatics

  • Moulding machinery

What We''re Looking For

• Recognised electrical qualifications

• Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running

• A proactive and reliable approach to maintenance

Experience within plastics or rotational moulding environments would be advantageous but not essential.
