This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically and mechanically skilled engineer looking for a stable role within a fast-paced production environment.You must live within a commutable distance to Ely and be comfortable working a Perm Nights shift.The RoleAs a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving site machinery performance, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesFault finding and repair on electrical and mechanical systemsMaintenance of high-speed production machineryPlanned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdownsElectrical work including 3-phase motors, inverters, sensors, and control panelsMechanical work including bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulicsPLC fault diagnosis (Siemens, Allen-Bradley or similar)Experience and Skills RequiredExperience in FMCG or high-speed manufacturing environments (preferred)Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skillsWorking knowledge of PLC systems for diagnosticsExperience maintaining die cutters, folder gluers, printers, stackers, or conveyors (advantageous)Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC diagramsQualificationsTime-served ..... full job details .....
