Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)Location: Knowsley - liverpool Salary: 44,000 33% Night Shift Allowance Shifts: 3-Shift Rotation (6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6) Holidays: 25 Days + 8 Bank Holidays Call-Out: 1 in 4 weekends (paid 51 per call-out) Benefits: Company pension, call-out payments, shift allowanceThe RoleWe are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (60/40 or 70/30) to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will be expected to hit the ground running, supporting production by maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a wide range of machinery and systems.You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and join an established maintenance team with a stable structure. Please note this is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys staying technical and operational.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and repair of heater systemsWork on machine safety systemsFault-finding on single and 3-phase motorsMaintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsReactive and planned maintenance across Plastic injection moulding manufacturing machinerySupporting production teams to minimise downtimeOccasional weekend call-out (1 in 5)Experience and QualificationsMinimum 5 years'' experience in manufacturingInjection moulding experience highly advantageousIdeally NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalentStrong mechanical background with multi-skilled capabilityAbility to work independently and efficientlyPackageSalary: 44,000Overtime: Paid at 1.5xShift ..... full job details .....
