Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerLocation: Newton AycliffeSalary: 41,500 per annumShift Pattern: 3 Shift Rotation (Monday-Friday)The RoleA leading manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team.This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime.ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimise downtime.Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.Work on continuous improvement projects to increase reliability and efficiency.Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system.Support production to maximise plant performance.RequirementsRecognised Engineering Apprenticeship or Engineering Qualification (NVQ Level 3/CandG or equivalent).Multi-skilled with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.PLC fault-finding experience would be advantageous.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What''s on Offer?Salary of 41,500.Monday-Friday 3 Shift Pattern.Stable, well-established manufacturing business.Ongoing ..... full job details .....
