Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity in the city of Hull.
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our well established clients for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer based within the food industry.
This is a full-time, permanent position with immediate starts avaialble.

4 On 4 Off days only working (Apply online only).

Pay
-48562 per annum.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, supporting the reliability and efficiency of a food production site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production and packaging machinery

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and safely

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime

• Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and modifications

• Ensure all work complies with health & safety and food safety standards

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

• Work closely with production teams to minimise disruption and maximise efficiency

Requirements

• Multi-skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities

• Previous experience within a food, FMCG, or fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance

• Good communication and teamwork skills
